Damage Assessment:

  • Contact Roof it Pros to conduct a professional assessment of the damage.

  • We will identify and document the damage to your roof, whether it’s due to a storm, hail, or other covered incidents.

  1. Contact Your Insurance Company:

    • Notify your insurance company about the roof damage.

    • Provide them with details about the incident.

  2. Insurance Adjuster Inspection:

    • The insurance company will assign an adjuster to inspect the roof damage.

    • The adjuster assesses the extent of the damage and estimates the cost of repairs.

    • Make sure to have a member of our team there to make sure all damages are accounted for in the assessment from the insurance company. This speeds the negotiating process up.

  3. Scope of work:

    • The insurance will provide you with an itemized scope of work document. This will have the items they have approved to be covered according to your policy.

    • Provide Roof it Pros with a copy, so we can confirm nothing was missed and know the work needing performed.

  4. Negotiate with Insurance Company:

    • If there are discrepancies between the insurance adjuster’s estimate and Roof it Pros we will work with your insurance company to reach an agreement.

    • We are not able to negotiate the price of the roof, we can only negotiate the items that were damaged.

  5. Approval and Repairs:

    • Once the insurance company approves the claim, we will work with you to schedule the repairs or replacement.

    • The insurance company Will provide you the funds to cover the damages. It is still your responsibility as the homeowner to pay the deductible.

    • If there is a mortgage lender on the check received from the insurance company. It is your responsibility to send it in the mail for them to endorse it.

  6. Completion and Documentation:

    • The roofing contractor completes the agreed-upon repairs or replacement.

    • We will send all documents and pictures to the insurance once we have a happy and satisfied customer.

  7. Claim Settlement:

    • The insurance company finalizes the claim and provides any remaining funds if applicable.
